Here’s what the beat team have been focusing on this week:

🚨 Anti‑Social Behaviour in Local Parks

We’ve continued high‑visibility patrols in Memorial Park and surrounding areas following reports of weekend ASB and illegal off‑road bikes. Anyone identified causing issues will be dealt with using our incremental warning approach.
Please keep reporting incidents so we can respond quickly.

🔥 Joint Patrols With LFRS

I’ve been out on patch walks with Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service after several small fires were started in Memorial Park. We’re monitoring hotspot locations closely and speaking with young people in the area.
If you spot suspicious activity, let us know immediately.

🏠 Burglary Prevention

We’ve seen a slight rise in residential burglaries towards the end of 2024, so the beat team has been carrying out:
• targeted high‑visibility patrols
• reassurance visits
• crime prevention advice to residents
This work continues throughout February.

💊 Drug Activity

Targeted patrols have been taking place in known key areas. We’re:
• disrupting suspected drug activity
• speaking with residents
• gathering intelligence to support ongoing work
